The field reflects the international character of the race and brings together a strong line ...up of crews from across Europe and beyond. Starting in May, we will begin introducing all participating teams here. It will be exciting to see this line up come together on the launch field.

When the future of the Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett became uncertain, the ballooning community refused to let the oldest aviation race in the world ...disappear.

Gladbeck stepped forward.

In 2026 the Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett will launch from Germany and the tradition that started in 1906 will continue. This race has always been more than a competition. It is the ultimate challenge in gas ballooning and a shared heritage for pilots around the world.
